What does the parable mean?  If you've read The Story of Everything and would like to "complete the experience," you're in the right place.  Here we ask questions, discuss them, and simply reflect on the story.  Some early reactions are posted here.

In the parable, the Story of Everything is personified.  Is there any reason it is called a "he"?  Why not a "she"?  What if it were a "she"?
